Oh, hi there! People's Exchange and D of Elephant Shoe Studio invite you every second Saturday of the month to meld mindfulness and making art!

This unique offering combines sweet, gentle yoga with creativity for a holistic experience. It starts with yoga to relieve tension, enhance flexibility, and promote awareness. After grounding the body, participants explore various art forms like drawing, sculpture, collage and painting to express emotions and ideas. Focused on intuitive creation, the instructor fosters free expression and self-discovery. This session nurtures physical well-being and creativity, encouraging mindfulness and personal growth in a supportive environment. All bodies + skill levels welcome.

April Theme/Artmaking: A Little Bit, Not All at Once/Painting using stippling technique

When: April 12th from 11am-1pm. Please arrive at least 5 minutes before.

Where: @ People's Exchange, 639 N Callow Avenue, Bremerton WA (plenty of parking!)

What to Bring: Beautiful You, a mat + props, AKA blocks, bolsters/pillows/blankets/thick books, basically anything that will aid you in feeling good in your body. (we will have some available). All other materials provided.

Misc: 18 +, masks encouraged though not required.

Cost: $20-40/sliding scale. Two spots prioritize our femme BIPOC community members.* If you find your sliding scale option isn’t available, please email D @ elephantshoestudio@gmail.com and she will add one for you.

Scale:

$20: You are living paycheck to paycheck and have trouble securing necessities.
$25: You have access to steady income and do not worry too much about securing necessities.
$30: You are able to pay for "wants" and do not worry about securing necessities.
$35: You have plenty of expendable income and hold privilege and power in our community.

$40: You have plenty of expendable income and are feeling extra generous.
